Although the water is really chilly, the beauty of it alone makes scuba drivers brave it. Crater Lake is situated in Southern Oregon which is considered to be the deepest lake in the United States falling to depths of 1,943 feet, and 400 feet down extending with sunlight.

PINK BEACH: KOMODO NATIONAL PARK, INDONESIA

RABBIT BEACH: SICILY, ITALY

Just a disclaimer that this beach doesn’t actually have rabbits! In 2013, this beach is rated as the best beach in the world by TripAdvisor in 2013. This island in Italy is located 105 miles away from the mainland. Aside from its sky blue crystal clear waters, people like to visit the place since most of its history is engraved in its rocky grottos.

This was once inhabited by Greeks, Romans, and Arabs. Interestingly, you may go scuba-diving in these waters which will lead you to learn more about its historic remains. You won’t only discover its history at the bottom of the ocean, you can also discover prehistoric huts ashore and hike through breathtaking lush trails.

SHIPWRECK NAVAGIO BEACH: ZAKYNTHOS, GREECE

This is originally recognized as Agios Georgios, Shipwreck Beach, also known today as Navagio Beach. This is literally the beach where a shipwreck was washed ashore. Although this mysterious shipwreck is what mainly attracts the crowd to visit it, the beach’s clear water alone is another draw.

While it might be difficult to get there since the only way to do it is by sea, it’s totally worth it since the view from the hiking trails and the tourist platform once you get at the top of the cliffs is what’s really breathtaking.

FIVE-FLOWER LAKE: JIUZHAIGOU NATIONAL PARK, CHINA

This wonderful gem is actually a Unesco World Heritage Site in China’s Sichuan province where amazing waterfalls collapse into its bright blue waters. This park is surely a standout among the rest of the parks in China because of its lucent Five-Flower Lake that provides a window-like view to the bottom where fallen trees make a lace-like pattern underneath the lake’s floor. The water is so calm and clear that it really mirrors the surrounding mountains and trees as well as the sky above.

THE BIG HOLE: TO SUA OCEAN TRENCH, SAMOA

Colloquially known as “The Big Hole,” this native swimming site in the South Pacific is such an amazing wonder. For you to swim in the translucent teal ocean, you need to hike through a lush forest in the lava fields outside of Lotofaga village on Upolu Island in Samoa. Once you get there, there would be a long climb down on a steep ladder.

But if you’re the daredevil type, you may do a quick jump into the hole that’s almost 100-feet deep. Plus, the water comes in from lava tubes that join to the ocean, assuring that this absolute beautiful swimming hole never dries out.
