Applying At a University for Indian Students:
The application process to study in Germany for Indian students change from university to university in Germany. The application process is done online. Students can apply to multiple universities for one intake. There are application fees for some universities, and along with the application form, there are some supporting documents to be submitted.
- A valid Passport
- Photos (Passport Size)
- Certificates of Previous Education
- Receipt of the Application Fees
- Statement of Purpose and Letter of Recommendation if needed
- Language Proficiency Proof (German or English)
- Monetary Proof of the Funds
If the student has previous education in the English medium, he or she might be exempted from the IELTS and other English language tests, if he or she presents the MOI (medium of Instruction) from the previous institution.
Student Visa in Germany for Indian Students
The student visa in Germany has a pretty straight forward process for Indian students. The students need to prepare the required documents asked by the immigration, procure the biometrics, and fill the form for the national visa. The next step is to book an appointment at the German Embassy for the visa interview. Pay the Visa fees and appear for the interview at the embassy. The Processing time for the visa can take 14 to 21 days, therefore the students need to apply for the student visa a bit early, keeping the processing time in the mind.
